RTA - Claims Handler

• Location:Southport/Merseyside
• Position:Full Time Permanent position – Excellent Opportunities.
• Hours:9.00am to 5.00pm –Monday to Friday
• Salary:Negotiable (dependant on experience) + Healthy Bonus
• Holidays:4 Weeks Holiday + Bank Holidays
• Case Load:150 - 200 files

Must have at least two years RTA/PI experience in fast/multi track.

Job Description

Acting on behalf of clients who wish to claim compensation and who have suffered injury and financial losses as a result of a road traffic accident.

Advising on liability and amount of compensation, generating standard and non-standard letters and documents, using IT system without secretarial staff.

Liaising with third party, insurers, witnesses and experts.

Collating evidence in support of financial losses, arranging medical reports and advising clients on the resulting compensation.

Dealing with claims against the MIB.

Submitting details of claims to third party insurers and negotiating settlement.

Issuing court proceedings on simpler cases up to allocation.

Preparing more complicated files for issue at court by in-house solicitors.
